Bangla Sahayata Kendra (BSK) is an e-Governance initiative of the Government of West Bengal
for citizen-centric online G2C services
Bangla Sahayata Kendra 3561 BSKs are operational across 23 districts
✓ BSKs are located at –
- GP, BDO, SDO, DM offices
- Health Centers, Govt-aided Libraries
- Urban Local Bodies (ULBs)
✓ 323 Public Services served through a single window https://bsk.wb.gov.in/
✓ BSKs are free of any service charge - ✓ BSK centers reaches out to the GP level
- ✓ Manned by Data Entry Operators (DEOs) appointed by the Government of West Bengal.
- ✓ BSK Project Management Unit monitors the daily BSK operations.
- ✓ Citizens visit BSK centers for public services.
- ✓ Citizens can also visit the web portal for online services https://bsk.wb.gov.in/.
- ✓ Citizens can download the mobile app called BSK App

- UIDAI approved – P&AR as Registrar-cum-Enrolment Agency
- FD sanctioned – 8.52 Crores for Aadhaar Center at BSKs
- UIDAI to provide first instalment of ICT fund
- P&AR to Procure Aadhaar kit through GeM Portal
The e-Wallet Operations
✓ e-Wallet Account is operated by BSK’s DEOs
✓ e-wallet is used for citizens to make online payments
✓ e-wallet works as an exchange payment mechanism – citizens pay
to the DEO and DEO use their e-wallet to make online payment for
citizens.
✓ e-wallet enhances capacity of citizens at grassroots to make online
transactions
✓ Citizens can use QR code or cash at the BSK
✓ Single account operated by two DEOs of a BSK
BSK Mobile App (Android & iOS)
Features:
- Citizen must download the Mobile App
- Citizen must register on the App
- Citizen can apply and avail services, on their own
- Citizen can track their applications on dashboard
- Citizen can store service documents in their vault
- Digitally signed certificate can be download
BSK Online – Web App
Features:
- Citizen can register on the web portal
- Citizen can login though OTP / password
- Citizen can apply and avail services public services
- Citizen can avail vault facility
- Citizen can download pdf copies of e-certificates
